Cloud lecture on English word formation
To help students gain a better understandingof English word formation,our school invitedProfessor Cooper from Britain to give us a cloudlecture last Friday.
In the two-hour lecture,Professor Cooper firstgave us a general deｓｃｒｉｐｔion of word formationand then introduced three main types of wordformation.Professor Cooper presented the lecturewith abundant examples and detailed analysis.
The lecture produced enthusiastic responsesfrom students,many of whom said it not onlyhelped them enlarge their vocabulary,but alsoallowed them to enjoy the English language.
